What the platform enables

Everything you need to manage wildlife camera-trap images, from upload and annotation to collaboration and data export, in one platform.

AI-assisted processing

Use computer vision models to automatically detect animals, filter blank images, and suggest species labels, while keeping humans in the loop.

End-to-end image management

Manage the full lifecycle of camera trap images, from upload to annotation, validation, and export, within a single, integrated platform.

Collaborative workflows

Support teams working across projects and locations with shared surveys, role-based access, and consistent workflows.

Standardised outputs

Generate structured, analysis-ready datasets aligned with community standards (Camtrap DP) for reuse, comparison, and sharing.

From field images to research outputs

A streamlined, end-to-end workflow that supports the management, annotation, validation, and export of wildlife camera-trap data within a single, integrated platform.

1

Import

Upload images and videos directly through your browser using drag-and-drop. Organise data by project, survey, site, and deployment.

2

Annotate

Apply AI models to automatically detect wildlife and propose species labels. Review, correct, and validate annotations through intuitive interfaces.

3

Analyse

Explore image sequences, detections, and metadata using built-in visualisation and filtering tools to support quality control and interpretation.

4

Export

Generate standardised CamtrapDP outputs for downstream analysis, reporting, or integration with external platforms.

Built for scale and reliability

The WildObs platform is designed to support long-term, large-scale wildlife monitoring, with scalable storage and processing capabilities that grow with your data and research needs.

High-capacity storage

Store and manage large camera-trap image and video collections using high-capacity storage designed to scale smoothly as project data grows.

GPU-powered processing

Accelerate image processing and AI-assisted annotation using GPU-enabled infrastructure, supporting fast and efficient analysis of large datasets.

Secure and controlled access

Protect sensitive data with secure storage and role-based access controls, ensuring the right people have the right level of access at every stage.

Automated backups

Safeguard data through automated backup processes that protect against data loss and support long-term preservation and reliability.
